ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that our customers consistently receive good quality products and good customer service.
ISO 14000:2015
ISO 14001:2015 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. The standard exists to help organisations:
(a) minimise how their operations, processes, etc., negatively affect the environment, (i.e. cause adverse changes to air, water, or land).
(b) comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements.
(c) continually improve on the above.
BREEAM A* - excellent rating
Breeam is an assessment which uses scientifically based sustainability metrics and indices that cover a range of environmental issues. It categorises and evaluates energy and water use, health and well-being, pollution, transport, materials, waste, ecology and management processes. Buildings are rated and certified on a scale of 'Pass', 'Good', 'Very Good', 'Excellent' and 'Outstanding'. It is carried out by independent, licensed assessors.
It works to raise awareness amongst owners, occupiers and designers of the benefits of taking a sustainability approach. It helps them to successfully adopt sustainable solutions in a cost effective manner, and provides market recognition of their achievements. It aims to reduce the negative effects of construction and development on the environment.
Bekstone walling is designed to replicate traditional, regional, natural stone in colour, texture and size, with the benefit of lower cost and higher productivity saving time and money.
Bekstone uses high quality quarried stone which is milled rather than crushed to provide the best and most consistently graded product.
Bekstone Walling is manufactured in accordance with BS EN 771-5.
Bekstone manufactures a comprehensive range of aggregate concrete blocks in accordance with BS EN 771-3.
Bekstone's cast stone range is produced in accordance with BS EN 1217 and replicates the traditions of British dressed masonry.
